Freemasonry in South Africa is an organised, structured society. Compared to other countries, Freemasonry is a small group of people – and the power they wield in South Africa is not as great. As freemasonry has a global reach and following, the small number of Freemasons in South Africa still hold some influence. The power of Freemasonry worldwide should not be downplayed. It has been said that the Masons use some kind of magic, or witchcraft in the rituals …this is speculation, as it is a secret society. Whether they use some form of ancient spells is not well documented – but the fact that is a highly ritualised organization, and secret, it would seem that they use some form of sorcery that the general public would be uncomfortable with. It is documented that the rituals and procedures that are performed are from a very old form of religion – whether is is actual witchcraft as we, the public, know it is uncertain.
As it is a secret society it difficult to gauge the affect they have in commerce and politics. To become a Freemason you will need to be invited. You will not know when you meet a Freemason, unless you are one, or unless he is wearing a Freemason ring or some kind of Freemason’s symbol. Freemason rings are often titanium rings or silver rings – they take the form of a signet rings. The highest ranking free masons are the only people who really know what happens in a lodge, and what power the free mason magic holds - magic spells as we know them are far from the type of power the masons wield. Any kind of speculation is pointless, their secrets are well kept, and have been for hundreds of years. The extent of their power is often thrown around – but real documentation, as with Illuminati, is sketchy. Facts like how many US presidents were free masons is recorded – but this in itself means nothing. In a free country like the United States it is strange that their presidents can, and do belong to secret societies – although I suppose freedom also means the freedom to hide who and what you are. That the Free masons have world wide network, and in some countries, a very powerful network is not in dispute, what is in dispute is whether they are a force for evil or good.
